Meet Our Team

I am a Financial Advisor with TruJourney Advisors in Shakopee, MN, with 20 years of experience in the financial services industry.

I’m fortunate to work with an amazing group of clients whom I’ve come to know well over the course of my time as an advisor. I value building trusted and long-lasting relationships with them as their life circumstances change and evolve.  My goal is to help them feel more confident and secure in their financial decisions. They make my work feel less like a job and more like helping friends and family.

Planning requires more than one meeting or solution – it’s a process that requires meeting clients where they are. Ultimately, as I work with them through retirement planning and income-generating assets, I’m better able to serve their financial needs and help them reach their financial goals.

I hold a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Dakota.

My wife, Piia, and I currently live in Shakopee, MN, with our three sons. I met my wife in Finland, where we lived for three years before moving back to the United States, and she is now a dual citizen of both countries. Our family enjoys doing fun winter activities together like hockey, skiing, and skating, and when it warms up in Minnesota, we enjoy activities like golf, tennis, and bicycling.

I formerly served as the President of the Bloomington Optimists Club, and I’m now a current member with the organization. Additionally, I instruct goalies and coach youth hockey as a hobby.
